deft balance of bitter/sweet notes like the Boulevardier cocktail (simply a variation on the classic negroni) // inspired by a quote from james when asked “what is it like to be black in america?” the violent clash of Vinegar & cane illustrates “a complex thing can't be made simple. You simply have to try to deal with it in all its complexity and hope to get that complexity across”.

Vibrant, Complex and Innovative // inspired by james’ morning ritual. composed of mostly coffee with RIESLING wine like acidity. full of fruit flavors, infused with jam & smoke that lingers into a sweet-Heat like finish.

ripe + powerful // inspired by a passage in james that speaks of the power of our tongue- capable of setting a forest ablaze. this beverage Has dark chocolate notes infused with a spicy jam with a fairly tart, Tamarind like sweetness.

silky, earthy, sweet/ subtle bitterness // inspired by James Chapter 5 which speaks on being patient just as the farmer waits for the rain. we use alkaline water to symbolize the distinct taste of rain water & ultimately the patience of the heroes of the civil rights movement & THE HEROeS OF TODAY.

aka - “reigns of justice” — for the faithful EVEN WHILE ENDURING GREAT SUFFERING
