bartist

Bartists are made up of Brewsters & Brewlettes; They contribute to the success of our band by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and more. They maintain a clean and comfortable environment. They are relatable, professional hand-crafters ( baristas, artists, bartenders … ) who are essentially the face of the company. They are expected to constantly expand their knowledge & passion for the craft, maintaining a really dope environment. They also model gilly values & bring their best to the bar.


Bar leads contribute to the success of the bar by leading a gang of bartists. Leads are expected to provide continued leadership and direct retail operations. They set the tone of the bar by carrying on the culture and language of gilly. They create an environment that is safe, fun, innovative & professional. They oversee the team by being a great communicator, organizer, trainer and establishes a well orchestrated bar flow that will have everyone on one accord. Every location is unique to its community but our leads work towards doing all they can to create a beverage program that reaches neighbors, visitors, while maintaining our companies purpose, mission & core values.

Brew chefs don’t require much coffee experience but are great at following recipes. They contribute to the success of the bar by prepping food & batching items back of house to serve & restock all of our bars. They are also required to assist with customers by answering questions, running food/drinks and resetting tables.

Host

Server takes orders, answers questions about the menu, sells the restaurant's food and drinks, takes payment, communicates orders with the kitchen staff, seats customers, and helps with customer service and cleaning.


Apprentice

Are you looking for a fun, creative and purpose-driven space to work in? Do you want to test the waters a bit? We have established a program for the next generation of practitioners who are seeking a career in the beverage industry. Apprenticeships are similar to internships & so they come with many perks. As an apprentice advances in their knowledge, skills, and abilities it can lead to an actual position, based solely on performance, commitment & passion.. Terms can be as short as 3 months and last as long as 3 - 6 months.


INTERN

These are often unpaid gigs & may not lead to a full-time job. But you’ll always get a drink & some food. You may even get some gilly swag also!

Note: If they choose, Inters can graduate to becoming an apprentice.
